The origin of the club goes up has 1981, date of its creation, its founder (1BG001) HERVE BRACHET had gathered around him, a group of bitten DX. They was the “beautiful years” of hunting for the CB enthusiasts by the police force and the gendarmerie: Jean-Paul (14BG003) still remembers it, him which with due answering of this “crime " in front of justice.

Once association creates with WHO like 1BG002 JACQUES, 1BG003 JEAN PAUL, it remained to find a name to him.

Its first was “INTERNATIONAL BRITTANY DX GROUP " but the prefecture of NANTES saw it of another eye, and required a French name, that became " BRITTANY GROUPS DX”, the group drawing its name owing to the fact that it was created in BRITTANY by the Breton ones. Name “BRITTANY GROUPS DX " is deposited in the prefecture of NANTES on July 28, 1982.

Taking into account the evolution of the CB in the world, Association decided at the time of a vote of assembled general of March 15, 1985 to modify its name, BRAVO-GOLF DX, was adopted.

It is with little meadows at that time, that prefix 1 was allotted to ITALY, and it prefix 14 became that of FRANCE.

There remain still some founder members of our club credits on the surface like 14BG003 JEAN-PAUL, much of other old left us for the great family of the radio hams, some from time to time return on the tape 11 m to make us a small cuckoo, that always given pleasure, because they have to teach much us that it is on the courtesy in frequency, as well as on the “do-it-yourselfing”.

The BG are represented on 34 French departments, and 71 foreign divisions, of which most active are NORWAY, POLAND, CENTRAL AFRICA, GABON and CANADA.

Official organizations recognized us and granted their confidence like PREVENTION ROUTIERE, UNICEF, the Foundation ERIC TABARLY, the municipality of BOUGUENNAIS, the league FOR the PROTECTION OF the BIRDS, and very recently MANU Association “children missing”.
